Practical member guide

The LayPicks Process

LayPicks works best when the full process is followed consistently. This page is a simple, practical guide for members to use before, during and after each selection.

The process

Follow the same five steps for every pick

  1. Step 1: Place each lay individually

Treat every selection as a separate bet. Do not combine picks or treat them as one grouped strategy.

  2. Step 2: Follow the advised odds and staking guidance

Use the advised odds and stake provided with each pick. Follow any current price or staking instructions before placing the lay.

  3. Step 3: Use the recovery tracker after any loss

If a lay loses because the horse wins, update the tracker and use the suggested recovery stake for the next bet. Follow the tracker rather than improvising your own recovery amount.

  4. Step 4: Don’t treat the picks as equal-stake bets

The staking approach accounts for previous results. Using the same stake on every selection can produce a different outcome from following the intended system.

  5. Step 5: Results depend on following the full system consistently

One race or one day does not represent the complete approach. Record every result, follow the staking guidance and avoid changing stakes impulsively.
